I check your skin type, your hair colour and the zone to be treated. Not every hair and not every skin type is suitable for laser. If I advise against it, I say so at this point and not after you have booked.
On the day before your appointment you shave the zone so that the skin is smooth. Epilating, waxing and plucking are taboo in the weeks before a session, because the laser needs the hair together with its root to work.

Slight redness and a feeling of warmth are possible after the treatment and usually go away on their own. Cooling helps. Please do not rub or peel the zone and avoid solarium, sauna and heat in the first days.
The laser works at the hair root. The treated hair does not fall out immediately but gradually falls out by itself over the following days to weeks. Plucking is not necessary.
Yes, with protection. The treated skin is more sensitive to the sun. Therefore protect the zone in the weeks around your sessions with a high-SPF sunscreen and avoid intense sun.
When used professionally it is intended for hair removal and is applied with protection. This includes protective goggles and the integrated contact cooling. Before every treatment I clarify with you whether it is suitable for your skin.
No. I do not treat moles, pigment spots and tattoos. Laser pulses on pigmented skin changes are a risk, so I leave these spots out.
No. I do not carry out laser treatment during pregnancy and breastfeeding. As soon as that is possible again, I am happy to plan your start with you.
Some medications make the skin more sensitive to light and can rule out a treatment. Please tell me before the first appointment which ones you take so that I can clarify this with you.
